A Korean lash lift is a technique for lifting and shaping natural eyelashes, often using a cysteamine-based system, that aims to be gentler and more precise than traditional lash lifts. It prioritizes lash health by using a softening solution, rather than relying heavily on glue, and incorporates elements of Korean skincare for nourishment.
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is a bit like an eyelash perm and gives the same effect as using an eyelash curler. A natural, semi-permanent lash treatment, it lasts 8-12 week and is suitable for clients no matter what their lash length.
This process uses your own natural lashes and enhances them unlike extensions where you have a false lash applied. This is also a lot lower maintenance compared to eyelash extensions.
This treatment takes roughly 30-45mins, it involves sticking a shield to the eyelid, then lifting the lashes to the shied and applying the nourishing lotion(like a perm) and then the setting solution.
It’s common to add a tint to the process in order to create a mascara like effect. (Which means extra time in bed for you)!
